CONFUSION AS NAKED WOMAN APPEARS ON LAGOS ROAD - PUNCH

THE IDENTITY AND CIRCUMSTANCES SURROUNDING THE SUDDEN APPEARANCE OF AN EMACIATED WOMAN IN THE AJAH AREA OF LAGOS STATE REMAINED A MYSTERY ON THURSDAY.
A VIDEO OF THE NAKED WOMAN HAD CIRCULATED ON THE SOCIAL MEDIA WITH HER STANDING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD AND MUMBLING INCOHERENTLY AND FIDDLING WITH HER HAIR.
OUR CORRESPONDENT GATHERED FROM EYEWITNESSES IN THE AREA THAT THE WOMAN ALIGHTED FROM AN UNIDENTIFIED CAR ON WEDNESDAY AROUND 5.27PM.
AN EYEWITNESS, AMAKA OFOR, TOLD OUR CORRESPONDENT THAT THE WOMAN MIGHT BE A RITUAL VICTIM AS SHE COULD NEITHER WALK OR TALK.
ACCORDING TO HER, THE DRIVER OF THE VEHICLE THAT DROPPED HER ZOOMED OFF BEFORE PEOPLE COULD REALISE WHAT HAD HAPPENED, ADDING THAT IT WAS DIFFICULT TO GIVE A DESCRIPTION OF THE VEHICLE.
THE DIVISIONAL POLICE OFFICER, AJAH, CSP TABO TUKURA, CONFIRMED THE INCIDENT, ADDING THAT POLICE PERSONNEL RESCUED THE WOMAN AND TOOK HER TO THE LAGOS UNIVERSITY TEACHING HOSPITAL, IDI-ARABA.
HE WARNED YOUNG WOMEN AGAINST PATRONISING NIGHTCLUBS, SAYING THE INCIDENT MIGHT NOT BE UNCONNECTED TO INTERNET FRAUDSTERS, WHO WERE INVOLVED IN ALL MANNERS OF THINGS TO MAKE QUICK MONEY.

St. Finbaar’s College, Akoka wins the annual Helmbridge Science Challenge for secondary schools in Lagos State.

St. Finbarr’s College Akoka, Lagos at the weekend won the annual Helmbridge Science Challenge for secondary schools in Lagos State. The school in a six-week-long competition defeated May Day College and Topgrade Secondary School, Surulere in the preliminaries to qualify for the final. The Akoka boys who walked-over Penny International College Coker, the defending champions, for late coming, went into sporadic jubilation on their victory. The News Agency of Nigeria, NAN reports that 16 schools participated in the competition, including Yaba College of Technology Secondary School, St. Finbaar’s College, Penny Internatinal College, Shining Lord’s Secondary and Technical School. Others are St. Michael’s Anglican College, Jubilee Model Grammar school, Fountain Heights Secondary School, St. Gregory’s College and St. Jude’s Private Secondary School.
