GEJ HOME AT LAST




At last, the rigor of the election and the associated handing over is over.
The incumbent candidate who is the PDP candidate lost to the persistent and resilient candidate of APC.
The PDP candidate in the person of Dr Ebele Goodluck Jonathan popularly called GEJ lost to the APC candidate in the person of Rtd. Gen Muhammadu Buhari(GMB) in a keenly contested election.
However, the persistence of the retired general paid off this time around which is his fourth shot at the office.

Dr Ebele Jonathan has always stated that no office or personal ambition is worth the life of any Nigerian.
The former president handed over power to the APC candidate yesterday at the Eagle’s Square in Abuja at a heavily attended ceremony by guests from all over the world.
By this, Dr Ebele Jonathan has written his name in gold as the first president in Nigeria to hand over the reins of leadership to a candidate from another political parties and this we believe will speak for him in the days to come.
Presently, GEJ is back at home in Bayelsa and was welcomed at a glamorous reception organized in his honor!
Home at last, you will say!!!!

St. Finbaar’s College, Akoka wins the annual Helmbridge Science Challenge for secondary schools in Lagos State.

St. Finbarr’s College Akoka, Lagos at the weekend won the annual Helmbridge Science Challenge for secondary schools in Lagos State. The school in a six-week-long competition defeated May Day College and Topgrade Secondary School, Surulere in the preliminaries to qualify for the final. The Akoka boys who walked-over Penny International College Coker, the defending champions, for late coming, went into sporadic jubilation on their victory. The News Agency of Nigeria, NAN reports that 16 schools participated in the competition, including Yaba College of Technology Secondary School, St. Finbaar’s College, Penny Internatinal College, Shining Lord’s Secondary and Technical School.
