MY OPINION.

I do not understand the reason behind the honourable member of  Senate passing a vote of confidence on the Senate President and those protesting that he should be left alone to perform his duty.

To me, it is a slap on the Nigerian public.

We are trying to purge our country and the honourable Senators are telling us they are comfortable with the situation whether the Senate President is guilty or not.

Forget about motive and witch-hunting!

The Senate President has been alleged of a crime.

He should come out and defend himself or is he above the law.

A government agency is doing his job.

That a crime was committed yesterday, today or ten years ago does not matter.

What matters is that a crime committed and well covered have been exposed and the law should be allowed to take its course.

I heard a sitting Senator being   interviewed on the 30th of September, 2015 on Channels and I am not too happy with his view.

He said they (the senators) are comfortable with the Senate President and do not really care whether he is guilty or not!

This is wrong!

To me and this is my personal opinion; the question we need to ask is if the Senate President is guilty or not.

Forget about APC and every other sentiment!!

Forget about somebody sitting in his or her homes and dictating to the Senate.

The question is: Is he guilty or not?

For those Senators backing him at all cost, what they are doing is to put the Senate President in a spot

To move forward in Nigeria, we have to stop going forward and backward.

We  have to stop  been sentimental.

Do we want to move forward as a country?

If the answer is yes; then corruption must be dealt with.

Sentiments must stop.

Selfish and personal interest must stop.

Nigeria is bigger than any individual.

The future of our kids must dominate our mind.

What legacy are we leaving for this young ones.
