4 die as Boko Haram attacks DSS headquarters in Kogi




It was a bad day in Lokoja Friday night as blood flowed freely following the invasion of the State headquarters of the De­partment of State Service, Lokoja by gunmen sus­pected to be members of the dreaded Boko Haram sect.
Three members of the sect were reportedly killed during the attack which also claimed the life of a Mobile Police man.
The insurgents who ar­rived at about 10.20pm and heavily armed with IEDs, AK47 rifles and other dan­gerous weapons, Sunday Sun learnt, bombarded the DSS office as they engaged the officials on duty in a fierce duel.
