Osun Govt vows to punish students for disrupting WAEC exam

Osun State government has vowed to use established laws to deal with any student caught disrupting the conduct of the on-going West African School Certificate Examination in schools in the state.

This was disclosed in a press statement issued by the permanent secretary, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Mr. Festus Olajide, and made available to newsmen in Osogbo.
According to the statement, government is aware that Grade12 students who failed to meet up with four credit passes required in the mock examination conducted to qualify for state government registration for WAEC had decided to vent their anger on the state government with a plan to disrupt the on-going WAEC examinations in the state.
