Dismissed EFCC staff vows to testify against Lamorde
An operative of the
Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Abdullahi Ishaq, has vowed to
testify against the anti-graft agency’s former chairman, Ibrahim Lamorde, who
is being probed by the Senate for alleged corruption.
Ishaq and other EFCC staff were dismissed when Lamorde was the commission’s chairman, over alleged professional misconduct. The former EFCC operative appealed to President Muhammadu Buhari to review his case and those of his other ex-colleagues and reinstate them into the service.
