Army declares 100 B/Haram wanted

Chief of Army Staff, COAS, Lieutenant General Tukur Yusuf Buratai has launched Anti Boko Haram Campaign Materials as part of new Military counter operations strategy displaying posters of photographs of 100 suspected Boko Haram terrorists that have been declared wanted by the Nigerian military. Buratai said they are enemies of state of the military and complete threats to national security.
He said the military is soliciting for reliable information on the whereabouts that will lead to the arrest of the suspects through phone call.
The COAS added that the public could also give out information on anybody found wanting or suspicious in the midst of the people with a view to arresting the terrorists and prosecuting them in line with the international practice.
He said the same posters of the pictures of the 100 Boko Haram suspects will be posted on the Twitter, facebook and whattsapp, blog and google+ among other social media for public consumption and response, with the write ups and inscriptions on the posters printed and distributed all over the country in Hausa, English, Igbo, Yoruba, Fulani, Janeiro, Babur, Shuwa and other languages.
He commended President Muhammadu Buhari for his wonderful and great support and encouragement to the counter terrorism and operations both within and outside Nigeria.
Meanwhile, Military troops fighting Boko Haram in North-East Nigeria have reportedly killed no less than 34 suspected terrorists in Adamawa and Borno states.
The troops also rescued 338 persons that were held captive by the terrorists in the enclaves.
