Suspected cultists hack down 29-year-old man in Ekiti


A young  man has died in Crown Polytechnic area of Odo in Ado, Ekiti State due to cultism.
The 29 year-old boy who was identified as Sunday Abudioke was killed after a brutal attack on him by suspected members of dreaded confraternity.
The young man who had a medicine dispensary shop very closed to the institution was slashed in the head with axe and  matcheted  to death by suspected cult members.
Those who killed Sunday were said to be members of a confraternity group from crown Polytechnic, Odo community, Ado Ekiti.
Sunday whose wife put to bed some three weeks ago, was said to have been visited by an unknown friend in his home.
However, the friend’s identity was not known to his wife, Yetunde, who claimed that the friend lured her husband to come to Odo and open one of his shop for business on the fateful day.
The deceased who reluctantly agreed to the friend’s request, later traveled on a commercial motorcycle, popularly called Okada alongside the friend to Odo community, a few kilometers away from Ado Ekiti, the state capital.

St. Finbaar’s College, Akoka wins the annual Helmbridge Science Challenge for secondary schools in Lagos State.

St. Finbarr’s College Akoka, Lagos at the weekend won the annual Helmbridge Science Challenge for secondary schools in Lagos State. The school in a six-week-long competition defeated May Day College and Topgrade Secondary School, Surulere in the preliminaries to qualify for the final. The Akoka boys who walked-over Penny International College Coker, the defending champions, for late coming, went into sporadic jubilation on their victory. The News Agency of Nigeria, NAN reports that 16 schools participated in the competition, including Yaba College of Technology Secondary School, St. Finbaar’s College, Penny Internatinal College, Shining Lord’s Secondary and Technical School.
