President Buhari felicitates Mama Eunice Ibilola Williams as she clocks 100



                                
President Muhammadu Buhari has felicitated with Mama Eunice Ibilola Williams as she celebrates her 100th birthday tomorrow, Saturday, 20th June, 2015.
He  joins family and friends in rejoicing with Mama Williams’ on the happy occasion of  her attainment of the very rare age of 100 years.
“As they celebrate with Mama Williams, popularly known as “Mama Palm Church”, the President urges them to give thanks to God for her very fulfilled life of commendable service to her family and society in various capacities, and for blessing her with the great privilege of living gracefully on earth for 100 years,” he said in a statement issued by Femi Adesina, Special Adviser to Buhari on Media and Publicity.
“President Buhari wishes Mama Williams, an aunt to Mrs. Bunmi Anyaoku, wife of the former Commonwealth Secretary-General, Chief Emeka Anyaoku, many more fruitful years of good health and life in the midst of her beloved family and friends.
He prays that God will further bless Mama Palm Church, whose devoutness and good deeds are celebrated, with more years of inspirational living for the benefit of present and coming generations.

St. Finbaar’s College, Akoka wins the annual Helmbridge Science Challenge for secondary schools in Lagos State.

St. Finbarr’s College Akoka, Lagos at the weekend won the annual Helmbridge Science Challenge for secondary schools in Lagos State. The school in a six-week-long competition defeated May Day College and Topgrade Secondary School, Surulere in the preliminaries to qualify for the final. The Akoka boys who walked-over Penny International College Coker, the defending champions, for late coming, went into sporadic jubilation on their victory. The News Agency of Nigeria, NAN reports that 16 schools participated in the competition, including Yaba College of Technology Secondary School, St. Finbaar’s College, Penny Internatinal College, Shining Lord’s Secondary and Technical School. Others are St. Michael’s Anglican College, Jubilee Model Grammar school, Fountain Heights Secondary School, St. Gregory’s College and St. Jude’s Private Secondary School.
