Daily challenges of been unemployed in Nigeria.




Research undertaken proved that the unemployment, and much more underemployment of graduates, are devastating phenomena and a high incidence of either, are definite indicators of institutional ineffectiveness and inefficiency.
Enumerated below are some of the traumatic experience the unemployed and the under-employed go through on a day to day basis. 
                                         
They include:
Financial Crunch
This is an inevitable feature of an unemployed graduate. Such person is bound to have little or no source of income which in turn affects his or her purchasing and spending ability.
Most end up living from hand to mouth.
 It’s not just the undergraduate that ask the parents for everything; today, it is both the undergraduate and the overgraduate!!!


Loss Of Relationship
 Few Nigerian girls will be ready to stay and wait for an unemployed graduate no employment. The reason why they may shift ground is simple. 
Age is a big factor. She can’t wait for too long especially when age is not on her side. 
Pressure from friends and relatives for her to get marry on time is there too. Lastly, everybody want some measure of comfort.

Sexual Harassment
This is common among unemployed ladies.
 They are faced with the dilemma of satisfying the sexual wants of that pot-bellied employment prospect or wait on the Lord for an unforeseen miracle.
It is using what you have to get what you want.

Abnormal Anticipation While Awaiting Interview Call
After submitting applications,  you are then expectant of hearing from the various companies where you have applied to be called up for interview. You keep your phone close hoping and praying.
Then this is when MTN will start sending messages like “Text NAN to 30020 to get updated as PDP lost to APC .

Little Or No Friends
This can also be related to lack of money. People come after you when you are rich but if you dont have those things that matters, they avoid you.
 Failure has no friend while success has many relatives.

Spiritual Attachment 
 Funny how people will start advising you to visit alfas, pastors or wizard.
That is when they will connect your case to that of your great grandfather, telling you he didn’t get to harvest a single mango till he died, which might be false. Dont be rash!! Time will sort things out.

Embarassment
While going from places to places in search of this so-called job, you will meet different kinds of people some of who will treat you like shit. Dont be discourage!1 Always encourage yourself!! Remember, tough time never last but tough people do!!

Job Scam
 In a desperate bid to leave the competitive unemployment market, many unemployed are very vulnerable to scams in the guise of job opportunities. They part with money as false employment consultants who are themselves unemployed ask for various amount of money in return for juicy job opportunities but at the end of the day, it is all a ruse. So, beware!!

 While waiting for job!! Work on yourself!! Do a bit of self development. Make yourself employable.
