3 security men charged with N5m jewellery theft

Lagos—Three security men, who allegedly burgled a house and stole jewellery worth N5 million were yesterday docked before an Igbosere Magistrate’s Court, in Lagos.
The defendants, Musa Alli, 52; Mohammed Musa, 44; and Mohammed Mena, 69, who all reside at Norman Williams Street, Ikoyi, Lagos, are standing trial on a four-count charge bordering on conspiracy, burglary and stealing, preferred against them by the police.
The prosecutor, Inspector Igonbo Emby, told the court that the defendants committed the alleged offences on August 9, at 2:30a.m., in their residence.
