FG Declares Friday, Monday Public Holidays to celebrate id-el-fitr.


The federal government has declared Friday 17th and Monday 20th July, 2015, as public holidays to mark id-el-fitr sallah celebration.
The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Interior, Mr. Abubakar Magaji, in a statement yesterday made this declaration on behalf of the federal government.
Magaji enjoined all Muslim faithfuls and Nigerians in general to extend the spiritual benefits of Ramadan, which include love, peace and sacrifice for the development of the Nation.
He also urged Nigerians to support the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari in his determination and sustained efforts towards building a peaceful, united and virile nation.
