Amosun Calls For Renewed Dedication To Duty In 2016

Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, has called on Nigerians from all walks of life to renew their dedication to duty, patriotism and productivity in the year 2016.

The Governor who stated this in a goodwill message, on Thursday, added that “as we celebrate, let us use the opportunity of this festive period to reflect on the journey before us.”
Governor Amosun said, “we must map out improved and effective strategies for greater achievements in the New Year,” adding that, “without doubt, our tomorrow will be better than our today.”
The Ogun State Governor further assured Nigerians from all walks of life, especially Ogun State indigenes and residents, that the New Year will bring with it, greater infrastructural developments for the Gateway state.

St. Finbaar’s College, Akoka wins the annual Helmbridge Science Challenge for secondary schools in Lagos State.

St. Finbarr’s College Akoka, Lagos at the weekend won the annual Helmbridge Science Challenge for secondary schools in Lagos State. The school in a six-week-long competition defeated May Day College and Topgrade Secondary School, Surulere in the preliminaries to qualify for the final. The Akoka boys who walked-over Penny International College Coker, the defending champions, for late coming, went into sporadic jubilation on their victory. The News Agency of Nigeria, NAN reports that 16 schools participated in the competition, including Yaba College of Technology Secondary School, St. Finbaar’s College, Penny Internatinal College, Shining Lord’s Secondary and Technical School.
