Delta First Lady Celebrates Xmas With Orphans
AS part of her efforts to put smiles on the faces of the less privileged in the society during this yuletide and in line with her pet project tagged O5 Initiative, the wife of the Delta State governor, Dame Edith Okowa, celebrated Christmas with orphanage homes.
The children’s
Christmas party, in Warri, at the residence of the deputy governor of the
state, Mr. Kingsley Otuaro, saw many children from all the orphanages in Warri
and environs entertained, and given items such as school bags, bags of rice,
toiletries, packets of Indomie noodles, among others.
