Niger PDP flays Gov Bello over secret probe of its members
Deputy Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Niger State, Barrister Tanko Beji, has flayed the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, for witch-hunting its members using a ‘secret committee’ which includes security agents.
Beji made the disclosure yesterday in Minna while speaking to our correspondent
after a stakeholders meeting at its secretariat.
He said the present administration under Abubakar Sani Bello is witch- hunting his predecessor, Dr Muazu Babangida Aliyu, secretly.
“There are procedures for investigation but not through a secret committee, they are afraid, we are waiting for their antics,” he said.
The deputy chairman insisted that the APC government is complaining that money is missing instead of embarking on meaningful projects.
“The APC government has not achieved anything in the state since they came on board, but is making all kinds of frivolous excuses, we are also keeping records that would be used after his exit,” he added.
