Boko Haram no longer controlling any community in Nigeria – NEMA boss
The Director-General of the National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, Sani Sidi, has stated that there is no more community in the North-eastern part of the country currently being occupied by Boko Haram insurgents.
Sidi made the
disclosure during an award ceremony organized by Northern Youth Council in Kaduna on Friday.
He said, “There is
no community that has not been liberated from Boko Haram now. “We should thank our soldiers and the commitment of President Muhammadu Buhari
to making sure this has come to pass.”
