Osun Govt Felicitates With Workers And People In 2016.

 The State Government of Osun has felicitated with the people of

the state for witnessing the end of Year 2015 and for being alive in
good health to see the new year.

      In a New Year Message sent to the people of the state on behalf
of the State Government, by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of
Information and Strategy, Engr. Olusegun Aduroja, thanked the people
of the state for solidly standing by the present administration and
for the full support given to Governor Rauf Aregbesola.

      The Permanent Secretary then reminded the people that since the
present administration is irrevocably committed to their welfare, they
too should reciprocate this unwavering commitment to their welfare by
not only continuing to support him and the administration but by also
giving him fullest support in the payment of taxes and other
obligations so that the state Government will not lack the necessary
fund to move the state to the promised land through the continuous and
un-interrupted provision of social amenities and modern-day
infrastructural facilities.

St. Finbaar’s College, Akoka wins the annual Helmbridge Science Challenge for secondary schools in Lagos State.

St. Finbarr’s College Akoka, Lagos at the weekend won the annual Helmbridge Science Challenge for secondary schools in Lagos State. The school in a six-week-long competition defeated May Day College and Topgrade Secondary School, Surulere in the preliminaries to qualify for the final. The Akoka boys who walked-over Penny International College Coker, the defending champions, for late coming, went into sporadic jubilation on their victory. The News Agency of Nigeria, NAN reports that 16 schools participated in the competition, including Yaba College of Technology Secondary School, St. Finbaar’s College, Penny Internatinal College, Shining Lord’s Secondary and Technical School. Others are St. Michael’s Anglican College, Jubilee Model Grammar school, Fountain Heights Secondary School, St. Gregory’s College and St. Jude’s Private Secondary School.
