Driver to serve 150-hour punishment for violating traffic laws

A Surulere Magistrates’ Court in Lagos on Friday sentenced a 30-year-old driver, Olawale Isiaka, to a 150-hour community service for violating traffic laws.‎

The Chief Magistrate, Mrs O.N. Ojuromi, while sentencing Isiaka, said the 150 hours should be spread over three weeks with a minimum of eight hours per day.
Isiaka was arraigned on a four-count charge of driving dangerously, picking and dropping passengers, driving without a driver’s licence and failure to obey a traffic warden.
