Emenike undergoes Hammers medical


Emmanuel Emenike is expected to undergo a medical today at West Ham United ahead of a loan move to Upton Park.
West Ham have agreed a deal with Fenerbahce to take Emenike, 28, on loan for the rest of the season, with the view to a permanent move.
The potential move had been held up because it needed the agreement of Fenerbahce and Al Ain as the Nigerian had been on loan at the latter.
Al Ain agreed to cut short his season-long loan deal to allow him to return to Fenerbahce so that he could then make the switch to West Ham.
West Ham boss Slaven Bilic is looking to add to his striking options before the close of the transfer window with Andy Carroll and Diafra Sakho on the sidelines.

St. Finbaar’s College, Akoka wins the annual Helmbridge Science Challenge for secondary schools in Lagos State.

St. Finbarr’s College Akoka, Lagos at the weekend won the annual Helmbridge Science Challenge for secondary schools in Lagos State. The school in a six-week-long competition defeated May Day College and Topgrade Secondary School, Surulere in the preliminaries to qualify for the final. The Akoka boys who walked-over Penny International College Coker, the defending champions, for late coming, went into sporadic jubilation on their victory. The News Agency of Nigeria, NAN reports that 16 schools participated in the competition, including Yaba College of Technology Secondary School, St. Finbaar’s College, Penny Internatinal College, Shining Lord’s Secondary and Technical School.
